A new approach to learning

Discovery Collective is a small-group, teacher-led learning community designed for families seeking a more flexible and personalised alternative to traditional school. Children combine structured online learning during the week with outdoor experiences, creative projects, social connection and real-world learning.

Our approach focuses on:

  • small-group teaching
  • personalised learning
  • structure without rigidity
  • real-world experiences and outdoor learning
  • building confidence, independence and social connection

Small groups allow every child to receive personal attention while learning alongside others.

How it works

Monday – Thursday
  • Teacher-led online learning sessions
  • Core subjects alongside wider project-based learning
  • Small-group support and personalised guidance
  • Flexible independent learning and optional extension tasks
  • Additional support sessions where needed
Friday
  • community
  • outdoor learning/activities
  • educational trips and experiences

Who Discovery Collective is for

01

Designed for families seeking an alternative to traditional school

Discovery Collective combines structured learning, small-group teaching and real-world experiences within a supportive learning community.

02

Initial group planned

Our first Discovery Collective group will initially be designed for children aged 7–12, learning within a small-group environment where every child is known and supported.

03

Maximum group size

We intentionally keep group sizes small so that every child is known, supported and given space to grow with confidence.

Register your interest

Discovery Collective is launching in Cheshire in September 2026.

We are currently speaking with families interested in a more flexible, personalised alternative to traditional school.

What happens next
  1. Register your interest using the form
  2. We will send you further information about Discovery Collective
  3. Families may then be invited to speak with the teacher and learn more about the programme
  4. Founding places will be offered to families who feel the programme is the right fit

Registering interest does not commit you to anything – it simply allows us to keep you updated as the programme develops.

The founding group will be limited to ensure a small and supportive learning environment.

Where curiosity meets community and structured learning feels natural.

Discovery Collective was created from a belief that education should combine structure, curiosity and real-world learning.

Built around small-group teaching and meaningful experiences, Discovery Collective offers families a more flexible and personalised approach to education.

The programme is led by an experienced primary school teacher with over 15 years experience in education, including senior leadership and forest school training.

Our goal is simple — to create a supportive learning environment where children are known, encouraged and able to grow with confidence.
